My parents are still happily married (54 years and counting!), and live nearby.  My Gram is 90 and also lives nearby.  So I’m blessed with family that is close to me.  My siblings are scattered around the world.  Mike is in Virginia, Julie in Germany and Laurie in California.  I don’t get to see them and their families nearly enough.

I started high school at Sheldon HS in Eugene, OR.  I finished high school at Timberline HS in Lacey, WA.  I earned my BA in Administrative Management, with a minor in Spanish from Central Washington University in Ellensburg.

I’m married to my college sweetheart, Jim. We’ll celebrate 29 years of marriage in July.  We have 2 great children.  Alex is 24, working and attending college.  Ebony is nearly 18, has finished high school and is working while attending PCC.  Our children are definitely our pride and joy.  They both still live at home.  I’m sure that won’t be the case for much longer, but I’m sure happy to see each of them every evening!  ;-)

Professionally, I spent the nearly 30 years since graduation as a Senior Vice President for a mortgage credit reporting agency.  I loved working at CREDCO, and cherish the friendships I made there.

A year ago I ventured out with my best friend from CREDCO.  We decided to put our talents and our energy into a new adventure.  We combined Murt’s love of children and my love of the elderly and created Gentog – an intergenerational daycare center for preschool children and senior adults.  We’re having a great time building our business.  Check out our adventures at www.gentog.com!
